GMA Book Club Picks 2026: Complete Monthly Reading List

The Good Morning America Book Club is back with a new lineup of monthly selections for 2026. Since launching in 2019, the club has introduced readers to books across romance, historical fiction, science fiction, suspense, literary fiction, and other genres.
Each month, GMA highlights a new title and gives readers the opportunity to discover its author, characters, themes, and story. The 2026 list already includes several anticipated novels from bestselling writers as well as exciting debuts.
This guide brings together every GMA Book Club pick announced for 2026 so far. We will continue updating the list throughout the year as new monthly selections are revealed.

GMA Book Club Picks for 2026
January 2026: Skylark by Paula McLain
The first GMA Book Club selection of 2026 was Skylark by Paula McLain.
This sweeping historical novel follows two characters living in France during different time periods. In 1664, Alouette’s attempt to save her father leads to her confinement in an asylum. Centuries later, in 1939, medical student Kristoff risks his safety to help his Jewish neighbors as Nazi forces enter the city.
Through its dual timelines, Skylark explores courage, resistance, sacrifice, and the ways individual choices can echo across history.

The May GMA Book Club selection was Homebound by Portia Elan.
