🚨 Is the Metroid Ravenous Special Edition Sold Out?

At the moment, the Special Edition is the hardest Metroid Ravenous item to find.

Initial preorder inventory sold out quickly at several retailers.

However, that does not necessarily mean your chance to buy one is over.

Nintendo has told customers to “check back soon,” suggesting additional Special Edition inventory may become available before launch.

Availability has also been inconsistent between retailers. Community reports shortly after preorders opened described Amazon inventory repeatedly appearing and disappearing, while some retailers had not opened their orders at the same time.

🧍 Samus (Metroid Suit) amiibo

One of the most interesting parts of the Special Edition is the new Samus (Metroid Suit) amiibo.

Unlike the other two Ravenous amiibo shown by Nintendo, this figure is packaged with the Special Edition.

IGN reports that the figure is exclusive to the Special Edition and is not currently offered separately.

Nintendo World Report likewise identifies the Metroid Suit Samus as the third Ravenous amiibo bundled with the Special Edition.

Nintendo has not announced a separate standalone release for this figure.

The amiibo will unlock in-game extras, although Nintendo has not yet detailed exactly what those bonuses will be.

That exclusivity is one reason the Special Edition has attracted so much collector interest.
