Fourth Wing Is Getting a Graphic Novel in 2027
The world of Fourth Wing is officially expanding into graphic novels. Fourth Wing, The Graphic Novel: Volume One will be released on April 6, 2027, with hardcover, trade paperback, eBook, Signed Deluxe, and retailer-exclusive editions available.
Adapted by Rebecca Yarros herself and illustrated by Anabel Rossi, Volume One will feature the first half of Fourth Wing, covering chapters 1–22, with full-color artwork bringing Violet Sorrengail, Xaden Riorson, Basgiath War College, and the world of the Empyrean series to graphic-novel form.
Volume One is only the beginning. Fourth Wing, The Graphic Novel: Volume Two is already forthcoming and will cover the second half of the novel. Iron Flame and Onyx Storm are also planned to receive graphic-novel adaptations, with each Empyrean novel being divided into two graphic volumes.
Fourth Wing Graphic Novel Signed Deluxe Edition
Collectors can also look forward to a Signed Deluxe Edition of Fourth Wing, The Graphic Novel: Volume One. The deluxe hardcover features a shimmering metallic, foil-stamped cover, a slipcase, and an exclusive art print depicting Violet and Xaden's first kiss. U.S. and Canadian copies are also hand-signed by Rebecca Yarros and will be available at select retailers while supplies last.
Several retailer-exclusive covers will also be available, although the story inside is the same across all editions.
Fourth Wing Tarot: The Official Deck and Guidebook
Empyrean fans will also get a new collectible in 2027 with Fourth Wing Tarot: The Official Deck and Guidebook from the World of the Empyrean Series.
The officially licensed tarot set is currently scheduled for April 6, 2027, alongside the Fourth Wing graphic novel editions.
What About Empyrean Book 4?
Rebecca Yarros's next main Empyrean novel does not currently have a confirmed 2027 release date. This page will be updated if a title, publication date, or preorder information for the fourth Empyrean novel is officially announced.
Stay tuned for more!
